Note: This journal is friends only. If for some reason you decide that you want to read my crazy ramblings, you may friend me and I'll consider friending you back, depending upon mood and interest.
Me: Living in Kentucky with my hubby, I am an Aspie who is slightly allergic to milk (doesn't keep me away from chocolate and ice cream, though, as long as I have something to drink so my throat doesn't close up!) and I have the cutest daughter in the world; her birthday is in October (my favorite month of the year!). I also have a second child on the way, and he/she is due in April! :D
I love writing, mostly fantasy and some sci-fi, and so far have written four series in one long chain of events, among other novels, series, and short stories; I have nothing published...yet. Wolves tend to represent a big part of me, and I love wolves and dogs so much that they often appear in my writing, too.
When I'm able to, I like to play World of Warcraft, and I have three 85 characters on Ysera: a Worgen Druid (previously a Night Elf, she was race-changed), a Human Death Knight, and a Worgen Rogue and various level 60s, as well as an 85 character on Arygos: a Blood Elf Mage, as well as various level 20s, 40s, and 60s; I've been playing for a little over 6 years now, and I'm pretty much a veteran of WoW.
Also I've gotten into D&D and Warhammer 40K: Dark Heresy in the past year, and I play D&D off and on with three others altogether, usually with hubby as the DM. The highest character I have is a Draconic Gnome Bard heading into the prestige class of Fochlucan Lyrist (under our friend's campaign) but I usually play a Druid of some sort whenever hubby starts up a new campaign. As for Dark Heresy, we have played partway through a campaign and are looking again to play it when we have time. My character there is a Void Born Imperial Psyker.
Even though my favorite kind of music is classic rock and oldies, my favorite band ever was Eiffel 65, as well as when the two of them started a new band called Bloom 06, and then back recently to Eiffel 65 (though they haven't put any new music out yet, at least none I know about). Also, Pink Floyd, which I can't even believe I've forgotten to put in my profile after all these years (seriously).
I like to think of myself as a bit of an armchair philosopher, and enjoy thinking of why things are, how I see them, and how they could be (really helps in the writing department). I also like to read about people whose views differ from my own, because reading only about people who are like me gets boring and tedious after a while, and also because I try to make my characters in my stories have as diverse personalities from each other as possible - part of that means trying to understand how people with differing views from mine think.
